Launch Day

May 16 has arrived! Stop by to check out Authors On Show and meet the team members! Have a look around at the brilliant work Melanie has done building the site over the last few weeks, and don't forget to visit the message board.

See you all there!

  1. Nice! Presumably the voting bit hasn't started yet, as I can't see anything about it?

  2. Dear Lady A :D

On the official site's 'Authors' page, you can click on a particular writer's page and, on there, there's an option to vote for that author. :)

  3. Do you reckon that should be made clearer? The only bit where the voting is mentioned is on the main page. Just a thought though - I'm probably being dense. ;)

  8. Alexandra, I hope you've got the voting off O.K. now. It does say on the author page what to do as well. It also says what'll happen if you vote for more than three.
Glad you've got some more stories. Stats. show that page is looked at.
I am so excited about seeing everyone's work up there and being voted on. Lovely to see you all. xxx

  9. We have done well today. I'm off to bed now, but we've had 218 visitors and 86 of them were new. Thrilled. Hope it keeps growing. We MUST keep them entertained with new stuff to see frequently. xx

  10. If you could put my FF piece from this week up, that would be great! I could email it to you, if you like. (Or I could just CHUNDER, EVERYWAH! It's your choice. :D )

Yes, Lorraine, I have come to the conclusion that if I had read the first page properly I would probably have had no problems... you would have thought three years at university would help with one's reading comprehension but, alas, evidently not!
