I've been blown away by both the number and the quality of submissions to the Guildford Book Festival short story competition.
So much so that I've decided there will be a second prize for 10 or 12 runners up. It will be inclusion in an anthology for the Kindle and iPad to raise money for the Festival charity.
The closing date is the 31st July so you've still got time to get your entry in.
The limit is 7000 words but note Ernest Hemingway's six word story ... "Baby Shoes. For Sale. Never Worn.
