First of all I want to say thank you to everyone who entered the first week's flash fiction challenge and also to everyone who has turned out to vote thus far. It's a very close competition, every vote is going to count - so make sure you get your vote in for your favorite.
Before I give you this week's prompt, I'll quickly go over the rules again. Entries must be 1000 words or less and are due by the end of the day Wednesday. In order to keep everything fair and above board starting this week pieces will be posted anonymously by number rather than by the writer's name.
Make sure you do put your name in your entry e-mail, I want to be able to heap praise on the winner, after all! Send all entries to email@example.com to join in the fun.
Okay . . . time for the big reveal. This week I think we'll polish some technique muscles. Write a story in the first person - less than 1000 words, you pick the subject. Good luck!
