New York Times bestselling writing team Lisa Scottoline and her daughter Francesca Serritella will release their latest book, Best Friends, Occasional Enemies: The Lighter Side of Life as a Mother and Daughter November 22. More details on the release can be found here.

Simon Swift was invited to be part of Kirklees Libraries November Month of Crime Festival and to discuss his book Black Shadows at a local library. Simon also shared a photo announcing his appearance.

Tom Winton's best seller Beyond Nostalgia made its way back on Amazon's contemporary fiction "Top Rated" chart.

Diane Nelson is halfway through her NaNoWriMo novel project! At one point, she had 26,000 words completed. Don't be shocked if she now has much more!

The Toronto Book Fair is being held at Hart House on Dec 11, 2011. Email Gina Cianfarani at if you're interested in attending. XoXo Publishing has two booths for book signing and display.

My news for the week:

I was honored to be part of a live author chat November 7 with Lisa Kessler, Natalie J. Damschroder, Sarah Gilman and Darynda Jones on Night Owl Reviews. They are all wonderful, fascinating ladies in addition to talented authors, and a great time was had by everyone in attendance.

The Cruiserweight reached #7 in Wrestling Romance in the top 100 paid Kindle books on Amazon November 6.
