SEEN This Week 2/27/12

Author and book news from this past week:

Alisa Statman and Brie Tate's book Restless Souls: The Sharon Tate Family's Account of Stardom, the Manson Murders, and a Crusade for Justice was released February 21 to mixed reviews. It is also featured as The Book Shelf's Book of the Week for February 27.

A few people have told Bob Grant that he should market his amateur rhymes. Bob decided to give it a shot and developed a site on CafePress called "RhymeStuff." He's started putting rhymes on t-shirts and sweat shirts

Stacey Danson's Faint Echoes of Laughter, sequel to Empty Chairs, is doing fabulously well on both Kindle US (#867) and Kindle UK (#393), and all the reviewers agree that it is just as good as the first book.

The paperback version of Barry Maz's new ukulele handbook is now available on Createspace.

Danger Danger by Gerry McCullough was promoted on the UK Daily Cheap Reads site February 21.

After a long road of rejection and frustration (and we writers have all experienced such moments), Shannon Lee has signed a contract with publisher Black Bed Sheet Books for her novel Mythic Blood, aimed for release in Fall 2012. Not one to rest on her laurels, Shannon will begin working on a second novel soon.

Joseph Rubas offers Pocketful of Fear, a book of over 40 dark tales for just $2.99.

My News For the Week:

The Cruiserweight ranked #42 in Paid Kindle Store's Individual Sports/Wrestling genre on February 24.

As of February 25, Fifty received its first two five-star reviews on Amazon.
